What you pay for.
We don’t publish a price list, because the price is a quote for your job. Four things set it: what you’re throwing, the size of the bin, how heavy it is, and the 7 day hire. This page is what moves the number, and the one part you can try for yourself.
The weighbridge
Where the price moves.
Every bin comes with a weight allowance for the grade it was quoted for. Pick a grade and a size, then fill it. The readout estimates the load from the density guide the rate card publishes for that grade and shows where it lands against the allowance.

What you're throwing
Waste type is the single biggest factor. Green waste is processed at a lower rate than general or building waste, and clean fill and concrete are different again. Mixed loads are charged at the higher rate.

The size of the bin
Bins run from 2m³ up to 15m³. One cubic metre is roughly a 6×4 trailer load, so sizing it right the first time avoids paying for a second delivery.

How much it weighs
Every bin includes a weight allowance that varies by size and waste type. Go over it and excess weight is charged per tonne.

Standard hire is 7 days. Need it longer? Extra days are available in most cases at a small additional cost, so say so when you book.

In plain words.
- Mixed loads
- Mixed loads are charged at the higher rate, and a green waste bin containing other waste incurs additional charges.
- Overloaded bins
- Overloaded or unsafe bins may incur additional fees. All waste must be securely stowed so the tarp can be fastened safely for transport.
- Limited supply sizes
- 8m³, 9m³ and 15m³ bins are limited supply and available for 7 day hire only.
- Fuel
- Our prices are based on diesel staying under a set level. If it rises above that level we may add a reasonable fuel surcharge, scaled to how far above it goes, and it will be on your quote when it applies.
- Accounts
- We offer accounts and statements to frequent users such as builders, tradespeople and renovators.
Price questions.
The cost varies depending on what sort of material you are putting in the bin and what size you need. The fastest way to get an accurate figure is to request a quote or call the team and tell us what you are throwing.
Separate your waste. Getting a small bin for green waste and a small bin for building waste is usually cheaper than putting both into one large bin, because mixed grades of waste have to be processed at the more expensive rate.
Excess weight is charged per tonne and varies by waste grade. On building and general waste the per-tonne rate is capped, so it never climbs no matter how heavy the load gets. Bins also have to be filled to the top rail and no higher.
It varies by bin size, from 400 kg on a 2m³ up to 1.8 tonne on a 9m³. Excess weight on green waste is charged at $90 per tonne including GST.
Your quote is based on the bin size, waste type and hire period you tell us about. Additional charges apply only if the bin goes over its weight allowance, is filled above the top rail, or holds a different waste type than quoted, plus the fuel surcharge when it is in effect.
