Sizes and allowances
Household waste is the lightest grade we run, so the allowance goes furthest. Bins open on the short end, so the couch does not have to go over the rail.
Over the allowance, household waste is charged at $395 per tonne. Bins fill to the top rail and no higher.

Where it goes
Most of what we collect comes back to our own sorting area before anything reaches landfill. Metals, concrete and green waste are pulled out and recycled; genuinely mixed waste goes to licensed landfill.

We do it with skip bins. We deliver the bin, you fill it at your own pace over 7 days, we collect it and most of it comes back to our yard to be sorted. We do not send a crew to load it for you. If you want the loading done, a rubbish removal crew is the right tool and we will say so.
Who does the loading and when. With a skip bin you load it yourself over the hire period and the bin sits on your driveway. With a rubbish removals crew, they come once, load the pile into a truck and leave. A bin suits a job that builds up over days. A crew suits a pile that has to be gone this afternoon with nobody to load it.
Yes. Most of our bins open on the short end, so a couch or a wheelbarrow walks straight in and nothing has to be lifted over the side. Close the door and fill the rest over the top.
